No matter where they might be, the fashionable and famous have been influencing our summer wardrobes as UK celebs’ Instagram feeds garner a wave of attention from fans.
In a week where Brits are sweltering in 33 degree heat, shopping searches for swimwear have shot up by 52%.
LovetheSales.com tracked the swimwear searches of more than 4 million UK shoppers to find out which celebrities influenced the nation’s beachwear this summer.

Demand increase: +18% ‘Versace print bikinis’.
Sam Faiers showed fans that you can still feel fabulous this summer, even without the Marbella backdrop. The reality TV star drew some serious consumer attention to Versace swimwear, taking a striking picture from her house in Essex. In the 24 hours that followed, searches for ‘Versace print bikinis’ increased by 14%.

The popstar jetted off to St Lucia with boyfriend Anwar Hadid, at the end of July. Dua had fans' hearts melting when she posted a photo of herself in this frilly detailed thong bikini. So much so that demand for ‘lime green thong bikinis’ increased by 21% in August.

In her recent trip to Santorini, the Little Mix starlette posed in her ribbed white bikini, with a beautiful backdrop. The Instagram photo certainly had an impact on shoppers, LovetheSales.com tracked a 33% increase in demand for ‘white ribbed bikinis.’

Whilst at a luxury resort in Santa Marina, the reality star posed in the skinny bikini for her 1.4 million followers and in just 24 hours the piece sold out online. Fans have been eagerly searching for similar styles on LovetheSales, with demand for ‘cut-out front bikinis’’ increasing by 42%.

The singer's face mask conscious outfit has drawn the most attention online and demand for ‘puff sleeve bikinis’ has jumped by 48% as a result.

Amanda wowed her 1.5 million Instagram followers with this glistening holiday snap, hashtagging it ‘#greatbritishstaycation’. The BGT judge had 55% more shoppers searching for ‘red bikinis’ in the week following the Instagram post. Amanda’s stunning staycation picture has made her the queen of swimwear in 2020.
Celebrity Stylist, Jessi, commented on Amanda’s swimwear influence, “Amanda looks incredible in her summer swimwear.”
“The fact that she beat out girls half her age, in this list of fashionable celebrities, shows how well loved she is among women in the UK. She is proudly showing off her amazing physique and who wouldn’t want to look that good in their 40s?”
