Michelle Keegan’s new SELL-OUT clothing collection increases fashion searches by 38%
1/3 of Michelle’s hugely popular collection is already sold out.
The actress has been influencing summer fashion searches, after her latest collection for Very released on Saturday 25th July. LovetheSales.com tracked fashion searches for each new outfit in Michelle Keegan’s new range.
Fashion searches for similar looks and styles have increased by 38% in August, thanks to Michelle’s new summer collection.
The Brassic’s actor has been working with retailer Very since 2017, but this is Michelle’s first collection with the brand, modelling items from her £2 million London home whilst in quarantine.
Michelle shot a short video for her 4.2 million Instagram followers, modelling the new collection in various rooms of the £2 million London house. The video has already been viewed over 770,000 times in 3 days.
The Insta promotion has led to huge sell-outs in the collection with 3 of her top 10 looks selling out in under a week.
Celebrity Stylist, Jessica , commented on Michelle’s sell-outs, “Michelle has ticked all the boxes with her new Very range. She has the perfect mix of casual outfits, loungewear and dressy pieces. Comfort and practicality has been all the rage since Lockdown began in March and Michelle supplies this with a trendy take on utility trousers. Searches for ‘utility trousers’ have increased by 15% since Michelle’s new collection was released.
9. Ruched Side T-Shirt Dress - Cream. £28.
Demand increase: +18% ‘white t-shirt dresses’.
Carrying on the comfy yet stylish theme is this gorgeous ruched t-shirt dress. T-shirt dresses have been a major trend in 2020, thanks to their relaxed style. LovetheSales.com has tracked an 18% increase in ‘white t-shirt dresses’ since the nearly sold out look was released last week.
8. Minimal Jersey Bodysuit - Tan. £18.
Demand increase: +21% ‘jersey bodysuits’.
Nude colours have had a big year in 2020, with 33% more demand for nude clothing year on year. But it was ‘jersey bodysuits’ in particular that have had a sharp rise in searches in August, increasing by 21% since the launch of this look.

It’s not only t-shirt dresses that are having a moment, thanks to Ms Keegan, ‘shirt dresses’ are being searched for 31% more than a year ago. Linen has also had a huge impact on summer fashion 2020, with 49% more shoppers looking for ‘linen dresses’ in 2020, than in 2019.

Another of Michelle’s ruched designs, a theme throughout this new collection, the actress looked every bit a red carpet star in this form fitting midi dress. Demand for ‘ruched midi dresses’ have skyrocketed in the last week, increasing by 39%.

Demand increase: +51% ‘yellow pencil dresses’.
Fans went gaga online for Michelle’s yellow pencil dress. One of Michelle’s fans commented on her Instagram video where she parades the dress, “this yellow dress is stunning!”. Demand for ‘yellow pencil dresses’ shot up in August by 51%.

The hugely popular tracksuit has already sold out and shoppers are searching for alternatives online. Demand for ‘tie dye tracksuits’ has increased by 57%, in the last week.

Demand increase: +62% ‘rainbow dresses’.
Fans fell in love with this flowing rainbow dress. Rainbow fashion has been on the rise in 2020, as a symbol of support and solidarity with the NHS & key workers. Promoting the dress online in an Instagram post, Michelle admitted, “ I didn’t even get a chance to tell you all and already some of the pieces have sold out! 😂🙈 We’re working hard to get them back ASAP but I’m so glad you’re all loving it”. That didn’t stop shoppers searching for alternatives. Demand for ‘rainbow dresses’ has increased by a whopping 62% in August.
